From 22nd to 26th February, artists, gallery owners, collectors and professional people linked with the art world flocked to Madrid to attend the 36th International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCO.

This key event, which saw the participation of 200 art galleries from 27 different countries, was particularly outstanding owing to the quality of its content and the standard of the collectors, both national and international. Argentina was the guest country at this year’s fair, which was particularly well attended, receiving around 100,000 visitors.

Artika, which took part in ARCO 2015, made a return at this year’s fair, thanks to the success and positive feedback from the general public that the company’s works received when they were exhibited two years ago. This year, Artika presented its latest publication, Sèrie negre by Antoni Tàpies. A limited, numbered edition of the series of drawings the great painter produced 50 years ago, and which feature his main identifying traits, namely the colour black and the letters A and T.

Once again, Artika has opted to use ARCO as a platform for promoting its latest work, given that the International Art Fair has become an excellent meeting point for anyone wanting to exhibit their works and creations before the international art world.
